Filling in the checkout from Mexico
We take orders from Mexico every week. The checkout asks for two sets of details — the person paying and the person receiving — and confusing them is the only common mistake:
- Billing fields: the cardholder's name as printed, the street address, colonia, código postal, city and state, the código postal — all yours.
- Delivery fields: everything about the recipient — name, Canadian street address, city, QC, postal code in the H3B 2Y5 form, and their telephone, which is what the driver or courier will use.
- Greeting card: signed with your name so they know who sent it; the packing slip is priceless in the literal sense — no amounts printed.
Paying from Mexico
The price tagEvery price is CAD. The switcher covers USD, GBP, EUR, AUD and JPY only, not Mexican pesos; treat the CAD number as the real one.
BillingYou're billed in CAD, and checkout shows the whole figure (gift, Canadian sales tax, delivery for that address) before you confirm. The Mexican pesos equivalent depends on your card provider's rate and fees, not the store's.
Payment methodsThe store shows Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB and UnionPay (2026-09-21). Mexico-issued cards are fine; use the address the card is registered to.
Zero at their endNothing is collected from the recipient — no import fee, no duty, no customs — since the basket is built and delivered in Canada.

Writing the card and the address from Mexico
Although Spanish is what people speak in Mexico, the store operates in English from checkout to delivery label.
- On the card: any language in Latin letters, printed as you wrote it.
- On the billing form: your name and address as your bank spells them, Latin letters.
- On the delivery label: the recipient's name and Canadian address in Latin letters — the courier reads English, and other scripts can't be checked at the door.
- On the phone: the recipient's Canadian number, area code first, in the delivery fields; your number may carry Mexico's country code.

Drinks: who can receive them
Quebec's legal drinking age is 18, and that is the condition on sending wine, champagne, beer or spirits there. Whoever takes it in must be 18+ with photo ID and sign for it; alcohol is never left unattended. Kosher wine and gourmet ranges without alcohol are available as well.

What cards can I use from Mexico?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB and UnionPay, registered to your Mexican billing address. The charge is made in Canadian dollars and converted by your bank.
Does the recipient pay anything — customs, duty, delivery?
No. The gift is made and delivered inside Canada, so there is no customs or import fee, and the delivery charge is paid by you at checkout.
Can I order tonight, my time?
Yes — if it is still before 2:00 p.m. Eastern on a weekday in Montreal, it is delivered the next business day; after that it counts from the next weekday. The table above converts the cut-off for Mexico.
What date do I put in — mine or theirs?
Theirs: the day the gift should arrive at the recipient's Quebec address, in Eastern time. Deliveries run Monday to Friday.
Are wine and champagne deliverable?
Yes — to anyone 18 or over. Photo ID is checked on handover, and alcohol is never left unattended.
